Inclusive Leadership: Insights from My MBA Journey
I had the opportunity to study and learn more about this topic during one of my MBA courses, “Leadership Skills for a Changing World.” Now, I’d like to share some of the insights I gained from exploring the concept of inclusive leadership. In this article, we delve into the value of diverse perspectives and collaboration.
Diversity Enriches Our Narratives
Our exploration begins with the acknowledgment that diversity is not just a buzzword but a source of profound enrichment. Individuals from varied backgrounds and cultures bring unique experiences and perspectives to the table. This diversity underscores the importance of active listening and empathy as we immerse ourselves in the stories of others. Through this process, we deepen our self-awareness and forge stronger connections.
Integration vs. Inclusion
It’s important to clarify the difference between both concepts, as they can generate confusion in many people’s minds.
While both integration and inclusion are crucial, they hold distinct meanings and requirements.
